Josh Pozzi is a British singer, songwriter, producer and musician currently based in Bristol, U.K. Currently a student of the British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM), he has been passionate about music for many years, surrounding himself in a wide variety of genres. Josh is emerging as a innovative and unique all rounded artist.
Josh had started writing songs and performing them with his guitar from a very early age, performing in local venues in his hometown of Swansea. These local venues would then lead on to performing at the Principality Stadium in front of the Queen and welsh regiment for the changing of colours celebration with other local artists. Josh then went onto learn music production to pair with songwriting to further his creation of songs. He has collaborated with local musicians, producers and singers to create unique songs to accompany powerful and meaningful lyrics.
His style of music is alternative pop. Using glitch hop, trap, electronic and synth wave as inspiration, Josh has been able to piece these styles together to put a dark, electronic twist on modern pop music.
Josh is an accomplished singer/songwriter and has released tracks on multiple platforms showcasing his deep and emotional songs that reflect on past events in his life - losing faith, storm, for the last time etc. Josh’s last release, losing faith, has been played on BBC Introducing with Adam Walton. His ability to write songs that connect with a wide range of people on different levels demonstrates a strong passion and love for creating songs for the world to hear and interact with.
He is currently working on his debut album to be released in the near future.
